    • Giants general manager Dave Gettleman confirmed...

Giants general manager Dave Gettleman confirmed Manning will receive a $5 million roster bonus Monday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.

Analysis: Previous reports suggested the bonus was due Saturday, but it turns out Manning has to wait until Monday afternoon. Regardless, the decision to pay him the money ensures the Giants will stick with the 38-year-old quarterback for at least one more season. Gettleman's offseason moves hint at a run-first approach centered around Saquon Barkley, with the Giants acquiring standout guard Kevin Zeitler and swapping out Odell Beckham for Golden Tate at wide receiver. The problem with the plan is that it requires a solid defense, while the Giants arguably have the NFL's ugliest depth chart on that side of the ball. A wealth of draft capital should help address the problem, but there will still be some busy days ahead for Manning, who could eventually face pressure for the starting job if his team uses an early pick on a quarterback.

Ware is visiting with the Lions on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: With Le'Veon Bell, Mark Ingram, Tevin Coleman, Latavius Murray and Adrian Peterson all off the market, Ware is one of the better backfield options still available. Detroit can offer him an opportunity to compete with Zach Zenner for the No. 2 runner role -- a job that may include goal-line and short-yardage carries.

    • Nelson is scheduled to visit with...

Nelson is scheduled to visit with the Seahawks on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: The Raiders hope to re-sign Nelson at a lower price after they released him last week, and the Patriots, Titans and Chiefs have also expressed interest. The 33-year-old wide receiver will begin his free-agent journey in Seattle, where he'd have a good chance to beat out David Moore for the No. 3 wideout job behind Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett. It wouldn't be the best place to establish fantasy value, as the Seahawks easily led the NFL in run-play percentage (52.4) last year.

    • Pressley is the AAF rushing leader...

Pressley is the AAF rushing leader through six weeks, with 75 carries for 343 yards (4.6 average) and one touchdown for the Arizona Hotshots.

Analysis: Pressley also has nine catches for 72 yards and two scores, making a decent case to get another look in the NFL once the AAF season is over. He went undrafted out of New Mexico in 2016 and subsequently bounced around from Minnesota to Green Bay to Atlanta to New York. The 26-year-old has never made an appearance in an NFL regular-season game, though he did land on the Packers' 53-man roster for Week 1 of 2016.

    • Cobb is visiting with the Cowboys...

Cobb is visiting with the Cowboys on Monday, Todd Archer of reports.

Analysis: The 28-year-old would be a sensible replacement for slot specialist Cole Beasley, who signed a four-year, $29 million contract with the Bills last week. Cobb's best work has been much better than Beasley's, but issues with durability and consistency could force Cobb to settle for a similar contract or even a smaller one. Dallas would be a poor fit in terms of regaining fantasy relevance, as Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper figure to hog volume in Jason Garrett's run-first offense. There hasn't been much suggestion of the Packers making an honest effort to retain their 2011 second-round pick.
